How it works
From Empty Roof to Running Tap
Every project follows a clear process — built with the school, not just for it.
Our Installation Process
-
1. Survey the School
We visit the school, assess roof catchment area, existing water sources, and student population, and talk with headteachers and staff about their real day-to-day water needs.
-
2. Install the System
We fit guttering, first-flush filtration, and storage tanks sized to the school's roof and population, using durable materials built for Uganda's rainy and dry seasons alike.
-
3. Train for Maintenance
We train school staff and, where possible, students on basic system upkeep — keeping gutters clear, checking tanks, and knowing when to call us — so the system keeps working long after we leave.
-
4. Ongoing Support
We stay in touch after handover, checking in on the system and the school, and returning for repairs or upgrades as needed.
